Mortgage Rate Trends You Need To Know

The economy is booming. Employment is at record levels. Consumer debt is up... these are all indicators of upward pressure for interest rates. As you can see HERE, interest rates have trended upward since the beginning of the year.

If you are on the fence for when is the right time to buy. NOW is the time. Rates are still at historically great levels; however, they will likely continue to trend upward. Rates have a much larger effect on your qualifying than appreciation over short periods of time. Don't be left settling for less home than you can afford TODAY by waiting.
